2 years - 2 long!

The Funk Family has been so busy. Maya is in 5th grade - still enjoying her Spotlight plays. She's in her 4th one this Winter - Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. She's thrilled to be an oompah loompah/ cocoa kid. Jonah had another thrilling Fall playing soccer and enjoys flag football on Tuesdays. We're just not ready for the commitment of the youth football program here in Oak Park. He'll be taking the field again this Spring with soccer, after a summer of Coach's Pitch baseball solidified his decision to stick with soccer.
I'm starting my 3rd season of derby. My first season we won the championship and made it back to the championship game my second season - but had a crushing loss. This season is sure to be exciting. We lost our first bout, but are ready for the next one!
Lucky, Bandit and Dash are all awesome. They're full of love and enjoy all the snuggle time they can get!!!!
