First Romp in the Snow for the season

we woke up to a full blanket of snow on the ground. Luckily their boots still fit from last year.

Kids and dog had a fun time out in the yard!

A parade and party at Whittier, party at the Summys and an afternoon of trick-or-treating all added to a great Halloween.

Lucky joins the family

Chosen on Friday, October 22 - Lucky the 2 year old beagle mix joined our family on saturday. We've all been adjusting, especially Bandit and Dash. We feel so lucky Lucky is home with us.

Apples and Pumpkins and Corn Mazes

We hit Jonamac Orchard for our second annual trip. Kids had a great time sliding down the slide, climbing on the hay castle, picking apples and launching them with the apple cannon, finding the perfect pumpkin and navigating the corn maze!

Soccer Star

Jonah had a great experience with soccer this summer. He's fast, loves to score goals and definitely earned his trophy!

Sunday, April 15 - Alpine Valley. We had a great time celebrating this event with the kids. Next time we'll make sure Maya doesn't have a fever!!

2 weeks, 4000 miles through 10 states

We accomplished a big road trip out west this month. Cheyenne, WY, Salt Lake City, UT, Driggs, ID, Yellowstone National Park, Custer State Park/Black Hills, South Dakota. We saw family, friends and lots of national and historical landmarks. It was a great trip!!

the princess turns 7!!!

She had an amazing 7th birthday. She had a party with 7 great kids, got to spend a family day at North Ave. beach, dinner and dessert at Maya del sol and ending with her first sleepover!!

We love our boo boo and can't believe she is turning into such a great girl with a tremendously good heart. Happy Birthday Maya!!

1st Camping Trip of the year

We had a great night and day at Pokagon State Park in Indiana. Unfortunately the rain, flood watch and tornado watch caused us to enjoy the second night at the Hampton Inn. Kids loved the indoor pool and we were happy to have a dry place to sleep.

Toothless Wonder

Maya first T-ball game - Go Rockies

A chilly evening didn't stop the fun for the girls on the Rockies! Maya got 2 singles, 2 RBIs and scored a run. She played second base, left field and catcher! We had so much fun cheering her on and can't wait for the rest of the season.
